The Best Photo for Your Burning Bridges Take
Lighting, framing and outfit: the small choices that make the AI host look like you.
Your Burning Bridges video is only as good as the photo behind it. The model reads one image to carry your identity through twelve beats of movement — close-ups, wide shots, whip pans. Here is how to give it the best possible reference.
One person. Only one.
The take has a single host to replace. A photo with two people, a crowd or someone's arm in the frame forces the model to guess who you are — and it will guess wrong. Crop to one person before uploading.
Face first: clear, sharp, evenly lit
- Front-facing. Turn toward the camera. Extreme profiles give the model only half your face to work with.
- Even lighting. Soft daylight or a ring light beats a hard backlight. If your face is in shadow, the close-ups will be too.
- No sunglasses, masks or heavy filters. The take ends on a cold stare into the lens — the model needs your eyes.
- Recent photo. Today's hair and glasses read more natural than a five-year-old vacation shot.
Waist-up or full body wins
The take mixes close-ups with wider shots. A waist-up or full-body photo shows your outfit — jacket, jersey, sneakers — so the model can carry it into the wide frames. A headshot works, but the model has to invent the wardrobe below your shoulders.
Clothes with contrast read better
Strong, simple outfits survive the warm party lighting best: a green blazer, a blue track jacket, a black shirt, a cream knit. Very busy patterns and tiny lettering can come out slightly different — small trade for zero editing.
Resolution: 300 px minimum
JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC, at least 300 px on the short edge, under 10 MB. Screenshot-of-a-screenshot is the classic quality killer — upload the original file if you can.
Quick checklist
- One person in frame, face clearly visible
- Front-facing, even light, no sunglasses or filters
- Waist-up or full body, strong simple outfit
